Make Me a Son of Peace is a series of seminars that discuss how to spread love, forgiveness, hope, joy, and light through Bible teaching and real life, from workplace to church. This year, through interfaith dialogue, we invite you to join us and become a Son of Peace and help create a peaceful space on earth.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Regarding the view on nature, Taoism advocates “For I am abstracted from the world, the world from nature, nature from the way, and the way from what is beneath abstraction” (Tao Te Ching<\/em>, Laozi) and “Heaven, Earth, and I were produced together, and all things and I are one” (The Adjustment of Controversies<\/em>, Zhuangzi). On the other hand, Christianity believes that humans should \u201cBe fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28) Moreover, it pursues a harmonious world where “The wolf will live with the lamb, <\/span>the leopard will lie down with the goat… and a little child will lead them.” (Isaiah 11:6)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

How do the two look at the relationship between men, nature, and the universe? Our speaker will give you an in-depth analysis and comparison of the ideas and beliefs of Taoism and Christianity, as well as explore how each can practice the harmony of life and universe.<\/div>\n
