Path to Full Union with God: Spiritual Development in John of the Cross (Code: ORH06)

Outline : The course will look at the life and teaching of John of the Cross, especially his understanding of being a companion or guide for someone on their journey to full life with God. In all sections, we will see the relevancy to a contemporary ministry of being a spiritual companion to the Christian in today’s world.

Instructor : Dr. Richard Hardy, the professor of Spiritualityat Saint PaulUniversity in OttawaCanada for over 30 years. He has taught Spirituality at various schools in the United States and Asia. Besides teaching, Dr. Hardy also gives retreats, seminars and conferences in Christian Spirituality throughout North America and Asia. He is the author of several books and numerous articles, including Search for Nothing: John of the Cross: Man and Mystic an updated and revised version of which was published in 2004.
