Fr. Julio Giulietti, S.J., is the Director of Loyola in Vietnam, the educational enterprise of Loyola University Chicago. He was president at WheelingJesuitUniversity. As Director of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality at BostonCollege for six years he worked with faculty and staff in personal and professional development. For ten years Fr. Giulietti was the Director of the Center for Intercultural Education and Development at GeorgetownUniversity. He has more than 30 years of experience in university education and Ignatian Spirituality on an international level. |

This course explores how spiritual direction developed in the Christian tradition;the unique role that the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola play in that tradition; and common ways in which the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius are offered today. Some practical guidelines will be given that can help practitioners guiding others through the experience of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. |
